Principal - Software Engineer

Ally Bank seeks Principal - Software Engineer in Charlotte, NC. The role of Principal - S/ware Engineer is mainly in the back-end s/ware & data engg space, combined w/ UI dvlpmt (Full-stack Engg). Responsibilities incl, but not limited to: Dvlp adhoc s/ware solutions that serves the capital mkts needs w/in Ally. Data engg for extracting various data from different data sources at Ally, using Python ecosystem (incl, but not limited to, Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-learn). Position utilizes integration skills w/ Web applications using multiple technologies. May Telecommute. Reqs: Bach's (or foreign equivv) in S/ware Engg, Comp Applications, D/base Systems, or a closely related field. 5 yrs of post-baccalaureate progressive exp in job offered, or closely related. 5 yrs of exp w/ the following (may have been gained concurrently): Python or Java or .Net, API & Web Applications; Windows or Linux or Unix systems; PLSQL; Agile & SDLC; Dev Ops / Change release mgmt / Incident records; MQ, SFTP, TCP/IP; & Data Dsgn, Data Quality, Metadata Solutions, advanced analyst, business intelligence.
