Maintenance Technician
Atrium Windows and Doors, the largest manufacturer of vinyl windows and doors in the southeast, is looking for Maintenance Technician for the Extrusion Division.
Responsibilities include the daily repair of machinery and performing scheduled maintenance.
$20.00 to $30.00 per hour, based on demonstrated skill and experience.
Skill Requirements:
Qualified candidates must be able to read complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic blueprints, and possess the ability to communicate well both written and verbally. Experience in welding, machining, fabricating, PLC's, or maintenance of plastic extrusion fabricating machinery is desirable.
Education and Experience:
Minimum requirements include:
- High school diploma/GED, Journeyman's card in machine repair, electrician, or equivalent experience.
- Candidates must be willing to work weekend shift and / or 2nd shift.
- Hours for the weekend shift are 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Friday through Sunday (36 hours worked, 40 hours paid).
- Hours for 2nd shift are 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Monday through Friday.
- Some additional work hours may be needed occasionally.
