Bellingham Technical College, Bellingham WA, is recruiting for a project manager to lead the college-wide implementation team in a multi-phase project (approx. 3-4 years), meeting project outcomes and deliverables and ensuring that the college tasks align with the ctcLink project schedule. This position will act as the liaison between the college and SBCTC, vendor staff, executive staff, college functional Subject Matter Experts (SME's) supervisors and employees throughout the project. The ctcLink Project Manager will also provide support and coaching to SME's and supervisors as they help their staff through transitions. Additionally, this position will lead the college through the development of a comprehensive, proactive change management plan to maximize full employee and customer engagement. They must be highly organized, great problem solvers, and excellent communicators.
Requires minimum of a Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience in Program Management or Change Management; Two or more years of experience managing organizational change and implementing complex projects; Knowledge of and experience of both theoretical and practical aspects of change management, project management, strategic planning, and risk management; Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal; Ability to work effectively at all levels in an organization; Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a team; able to work with and through others; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including active listening, verbal and written communication; Experience in strategic planning and risk management; Ability to analyze and document the needs of users; Demonstrated effectiveness in leading cross-functional teams in higher education environments; Strong analytic, decision making, and problem solving abilities. Annual salary is $85,000-$90,000, doe plus benefits.
