Clinical Coordinator, Speech Language Pathology Assistant Program; Instructor
CLINICAL COORDINATOR, SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY ASSISTANT PROGRAM; INSTRUCTOR
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of three years of experience in speech language pathology service provision post clinical fellowship year required. Prior experience with supervision of SLP Assistant preferred. MA or MS in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited college or university required. Possession of a current and permanent North Carolina License for Speech Pathologists as issued by the Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred. Under the direction of the Director of the Speech Language Pathology Assistant Program (SLPA) the clinical coordinator/instructor is responsible for the coordination of the SLPA fieldwork placements and teaches various courses in the SLPA curriculum. This is a 9-month faculty position working mid-August through mid-May each academic year.
