Counselor, Counseling and Disability Services
QUALIFICATIONS: Preferred Training and Experience: Master's Degree required in counseling, social work or related field. Eligibility for credentialing as an NCC, NCLPC or LCSW is highly desired. Required Training and Experience: Minimum of 2 years'; work experience in counseling, education, or related field. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Knowledge and experience in tests and measurements and in psychosocial interviewing and counseling techniques. Computer/MS Office skills required. The Counselor, Counseling & Disability Services, provides advocacy, policy implementation, and counseling services for the students of Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute. This includes disability verification, providing appropriate services, such as physical and academic accommodations, academic advisement, personal counseling, and career counseling.
