Director of Finance
The Director of Finance will manage and coordinate all activities in accounting and other related finance functions of the company. The individual will assure reliable record keeping for all business transactions of the company. The Director of Finance will safeguard the company's assets by developing and maintaining appropriate internal control procedures and will provide business decision support to senior management. Oversee the payroll department and benefits department. Manage and prepare Charlotte Area Transit’s Bus Operations Division (CATS-BOD) two (2) year budget and manage ten-year capital projections. Includes monthly and quarterly budget reports for the City of Charlotte. Responsible for supervision of BOD Accounts Payable and managing funds availability. Includes monthly reconciliation of Imprest checking account and annual audit by the City of Charlotte.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college with coursework in accounting, business, or related field preferred. CPA or other relevant qualification is a plus. Minimum five (5) years or more direct experience in management of accounting/finance operations with three (3) years or more people management experience.
Salary range $70,000 to $83,000.
