OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Hardwood, Laminate & Vinyl Flooring Distributor is looking to hire Outside Sales Rep. Build and maintain a highly motivated sales organization covering North, South Carolina and Georgia. Visit clients and set up showrooms. Execute sales growth and perform market analysis. Require 85% travel. Experience in flooring is a plus!
- Operate in the defined territory
- Work closely with, motivate and encourage each Sales Representative
- Ability to travel approximately 85% of the time within the allocated mapped Sales Territory
- Achieving the budgeted orders target for the company floor products within all Sales Representative territories
- Assisting the National Sales Manager in achieving the budgeted orders target for Promotional Programs.
- Identifying sales opportunities and managing them through to completion, reporting sales data analyze by territory.
- Tracking lead source (report) are positively pursued toward sale completion
- Create a Campaign Events - Ensuring new Sample Request are followed up as potential leads
- Conducting operations in accordance with direction from the President and Vice President
- Must provide sales forecasting, activity and other management reports as required by the VP
- Identifying, appointing, training and managing sales representatives to ensure full coverage of the territory business potential
- Ensuring sales representative quality by performance management
- Providing feedback on market activity and product information to the VP
- Resolving customer problems
- Allocating and making available resources such as Product Guide, Sample Dept, and Trade Shows
- Sales presentation demonstrations and customer visits
- Responding and making bid submissions
- Ensuring Sales Representatives are furnished with current pricing, literature and other sales collateral
- Managing in-territory exhibitions, ensuring that all stand, product and manning requirements are met
- Keeping the contact database fully current such that it provides a tool for sales activity reporting, lead tracking, customer management, marketing and program tracking
- Maintaining the quality of all communications with customers
