Laundry Aide
Job Description:

Job requirements:
We are looking for an individual who is motivated and dedicated with a friendly attitude. Detail-oriented and can work independently.
Demonstrates the proper operation of laundry equipment and use of laundry supplies in a safe and efficient manner.
Maintains all residents' clothing in good repair and appearance as well as sorting and delivering laundry to resident care areas.
Ensures that residents' personal clothing is marked with their name.
Refers residents' clothing needs to the Resident/Family Services Coordinator, recommending clothing appropriate to each resident's age and condition.
Performs job in a safe manner, using proper body mechanics; follows facility procedures regarding injury on performance of the job. Responsible for proper care of all equipment, supplies and financial assets involved in the performance of the job
