Maintenance Supervisor
The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day supervision of the maintenance staff, the distribution of daily work orders and follow-up to ensure completion, quality and quantity of corrective/preventative maintenance and repairs.
Duties:
The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Provide technical support to maintenance technicians and assist in problem solving as required. Schedule work shifts for all base building maintenance technicians.
- Order and receive materials necessary to operate the building, manage inventory of tenant installed above standard equipment, and provide maintenance support to other building management departments as needed.
- Complete repairs and preventive maintenance to equipment as required; ensure work is completed in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide direct support to the Assistant Chief Engineer including tenant upfits, review mechanical/electrical/plumbing (MEP) drawings, coordinate equipment and controls installation and location, and assist in creating mechanical and electrical punch lists.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervise the day-to-day activities of the base building maintenance technicians. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating employee performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; five years of maintenance or building operations experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates must have intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office, Outlook, SharePoint, and Windows operating systems.
Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
