Water Treatment Plant Operator I - The City of Monroe is seeking a surface Water Treatment Plant
Operator at our 11-mgd conventional Water Treatment Plant. The successful candidate will be required
to obtain a C surface treatment operator license or above within 12 months of employment and must
possess a valid driver license. Candidate will be familiar with all aspects of operating an independent
Water Treatment Plant shift including plant checks, chemical feed adjustment, operation and light
maintenance of related equipment, basic laboratory analysis, sampling techniques, and record keeping.
Salary grade WR-4; salary range $36,109 – $54,205. Apply online at www.monroenc.org and select the
