Water Treatment Plant Operator I - The City of Monroe is seeking a Water Treatment Plant Operator I to perform semiskilled work operating a water treatment plant. The successful candidate will assist in the operation of the water treatment plant; taking samples; performing routine tests; ensuring proper plant operation; maintaining records and files and preparing reports. Possession of a Grade C Surface Water Treatment certification. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school supplemented by on-the-job and formal instruction in water treatment plant operations and minimal experience in the operation of a water treatment plant.
