The successful candidate will need to be able to change priorities quickly, without sacrificing accuracy or quality of work, while maintaining confidentiality. This position will assist and support the following areas: recruitment and selection, benefits administration, risk management, pay and compensation, employee relations, training and development, records management and community relations. - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Public Administration or related field and considerable HR experience or equivalent combination of education and experience - Valid NC Driver's License
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Availability to work minimal evenings and occasionally weekend meetings/events that support Citywide efforts - Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher and Access
