Building Automation System Application Engineer
Elon University is seeking a Building Automation System Application Engineer responsible for the oversight, care and maintenance of all university maintained building automation controls and energy management systems. Minimum 5 years of BAS/DDC controls experience, WebCTRL experience preferred. Position will remain open until filled.
Summary of Position
This position is responsible for the oversight, care and maintenance of all university maintained building automation controls, and energy management systems. The position oversees and maintains Elon’s web-based Energy/Utilities Dashboard through Automated Logic WebCTRL; and provides routine reviews, updates, and reports on campus utilities and building status through· Auto mated Logic Energy Reports. Also includes systems based on Johnson Controls, Trane (Tracer, Tracker}, Daiken, Mitsubishi, Centralite, and Tridium.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering/Engineering Technology, or equivalent 4-year technical degree in HVAC, Computer Science, Industrial Automation or related field or minimum 6 years of industry related technical field experience including working with HVAC systems, DDC systems, software control systems, and device calibration
