Building Automation System Application Engineer
Elon University is currently accepting applications for a Building Automation System Application Engineer responsible for the oversight, care and maintenance of all university maintained building automation controls, and energy management systems. The position oversees and maintains Elon's web-based Energy/Utilities Dashboard through Automated Logic WebCTRL. Experience with integrating equipment of one system into another control system, experience integrating to the WebCTRL system a plus. The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to integrate, maintain and troubleshoot a variety of direct digital controls associated with a computerized energy management system. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering/Engineering Technology, or equivalent 4-year technical degree in HVAC, Computer Science, Industrial Automation or related field or minimum 6 years of industry related technical field experience including working with HVAC systems, DDC systems, software control systems, and device calibration. Five years of BAS / DDC controls experience, WebCTRL experience preferred. The position will remain open until filled.
