RN Supervisor – FT 7:00 p.m.-7:30 a.m.; Provide direct supervision to licensed and unlicensed staff, direct oversight of the on-site health care center, provide medical care of assigned residents which includes assessment planning, implementation and evaluation. Req: At least two years of nursing supervisory experience; valid North Carolina RN License. Prefer: nursing experience with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities and/or acute care.
LPN – 1st Shift FT (every other weekend); Provide medical care for assigned residents includes: assessment, implementation and evaluation for plan of care; case management, hands-on nursing care & treatment of children/adults IDD, use web-based record keeping system, serve on interdisciplinary team. Req: valid North Carolina LPN license. Prefer: nursing experience with IDD and/or acute care.
Direct Support Professional: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Shifts- FT, PT & Weekend relief (every other weekend). Provide total care support; assist residents with meals, personal care activities, and goals. Require: HS/GED; min 2 yrs related experience. Prefer: IDD experience, CNA certificate
Special Education Teacher: FT - responsible for teaching students’ w/IDD and by creating a learning environment using technology and innovative teaching methods, serves as a member of the clinical team and an integral professional in the active treatment service delivery process. Req: Minimum 21 years of age; BA or BS degree; valid NC teaching or eligible to obtain license.
Qualified Professional (QP/IDD): FT, 1st Shift; Mon-Fri, & wknd on-call rotation. Ensure quality programming and services for residents, develop & plan, facilitate, implement, monitor & evaluate effective plans of care. The QP/IDD collaborates w/clinical members to ensure compliance with regulations/requirements. Req: BA or BS in a human services field; min of 2 years exp in IDD; valid NC Driver's License; QP status or Associate Professional status, exp.team leader-supervision. Prefer exp in residential facility or service with persons with IDD.
Community Group Home Manager: Live in 24-7 FT week on/week off The home manager is responsible for assisting residents in a normal home-like atmosphere. Requires knowledge of principles of household management incl. basic nutrition & cooking, money management, management, supervision & communication skills. Responsible for needs & continuous supervision of residents. Act as a positive role model for residents. Req. 2 years general work experience, valid driver license, basic computer skills; ability to read, write, understand and follow directions. Prefer experience &/or education in human service field, service with persons with IDD.
