Position Summary:
The primary duty of the staff accountant is to ensure the integrity of the HCHOTV general ledger. Process and manage payroll, accounts payable, create general journal entries, perform balance sheet reconciliations, provide month end support and other finance related matters.
Summary of Job Functions:
- Process Payroll and perform payroll duties
- Perform Accounts Payable duties
- Balance Sheet account reconciliations
- Perform general ledger entries
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Knowledge of accounting methods and procedures
- Minimum of 2 years related experience, preferably in healthcare
- Strong computer skills, advanced Excel skills preferred
- Strong analytical abilities
- Ability to work independent of close supervision
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
