Tier 3 IT Support Specialist

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) at Indiana State University is seeking a highly skilled Tier 3 Support Specialist. This role is crucial for enhancing our IT services and ensuring that our systems operate smoothly and securely. As a Tier 3 Support Specialist, you will be at the forefront of solving complex technical issues that go beyond the capabilities of our Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our environment.

In this position, you will leverage your advanced IT skills to address and resolve challenging technical problems, ensuring that our technology infrastructure remains robust and reliable. Your work will involve not only troubleshooting and fixing issues but also implementing preventative measures, particularly through effective Mobile Device Management (MDM) practices. This includes ensuring all devices are properly configured, up-to-date with the latest security patches, and compliant with our organization’s policies to maintain a secure and efficient IT environment. By keeping our systems up to date, you will play a key role in supporting the university’s mission and enhancing the overall user experience for faculty, staff, and students.

Required Qualifications:

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of relevant experience.
