Job description
Industrial Test Systems, Inc (ITS) is seeking a dynamic Website Manager to work in our office and be responsible for helping with the development and execution of marketing initiatives to promote some of the most important advances in water quality testing this century. Note: This is not a remote position.
ITS is a leading Rock Hill, SC manufacturer and global distributor of instruments and chemistries designed to test water and coolant analytes. It develops innovative products, many covered by U.S. and worldwide patents, for industries such as municipal water treatment, food & beverage, craft brewing, trucking & automotive, fresh & marine aquaria, pool & spa, education, and medical diagnostics globally.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Bring an enthusiastic, go-getter attitude with you every day and contribute to the overall success of the ITS Team
- Assist in the development of comprehensive digital marketing and media plans that will effectively drive sales growth
- Create a clean, modern, responsive website and landing pages that are accessibility compliant
- Create HTML email templates for sales and direct weekly marketing campaigns
- Manage and produce creative content for the company website and social medial channels as necessary
- Interpret and utilize data to identify opportunities and trends to provide actionable recommendations integrated into advertising, media, and promotional plans.
- Evaluate emerging marketing technologies and provide recommendations for adoption where appropriate
- Become an expert on ITS’ products and develop sales support content
- Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (i.e. social media, direct mail, email promotions, text to phone, and web)
- Design and develop various marketing materials including flyers, advertisements, press releases, tradeshow banners, etc.
- Help organize marketing events (i.e. tradeshows) as necessary
- Opportunities for travel to tradeshows
Requirements Base understanding of the creative process and graphic design
- Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills (Office product suite)
- 3+ years experience with Adobe Creative Suite on a Mac
- An understanding of the capabilities of standard web technologies like HTML, CSS, and Javascript
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Big Commerce, Shopify, WordPress, and/or HTML required
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools
- Experience in creating and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
- A driven personality that takes initiative and can work autonomously
- Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
- Strong time management and project management skills
- BS in Web/Graphic Design, Marketing or related field a plus
