Human Resources Manager
Position Summary/Functions:
Develops Human Resources policies and programs for Mi-T-M Corp. and all subsidiaries with employees. The major areas covered are organizational planning and development, employment, indoctrination and training, employee relations, compensation and benefits, safety and health, and employee services. Originates Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide a balanced program throughout all divisions. Assists and advises senior management on Human Resources Issues.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of effective Human Resources practices, policies, procedures, laws and regulations.
- Ability to understand and analyze benefit plan information.
- Ability to analyze compensation trends and market information in order to develop and recommend competitive pay practices.
- Ability to understand and counsel directors, managers, supervisors, and all employees in various employee relations issues to be resolved in the most positive outcome.
- Demonstration of strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Demonstration of excellent written, oral and listening communication skills.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Ability to develop interpersonal relationships with coworkers and managers.
Education, Experience, and Training:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Human Resources, Business Management, or related business degree.
- 2 – 5 years experience gained through increasingly responsible management position with Human Resources.
- 2 – 5 years experience directly dealing with employee benefits, payroll, and 401(k) programs.
