Summary

  • Train and mentor warehouse associates on machinery and operating procedures.
  • Record and process inventory transactions of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Perform daily material transfers from warehouse locations to Point of Consumption.
  • Examine incoming shipments and reject and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Process receipts in Sage X3 in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Rotate delivery of raw materials in storage area and warehouse racks according to FIFO.
  • Log drop trailers that are staged in trailer parking lot by contents, date, and trailer number.
  • Coordinate the immediate removal of all RMA requests and non-conforming material.
  • Perform weekly cycle counts for all raw materials and review variances with Buyer.
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required.
  • Uphold and manage team participation in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy and MMAD volunteering opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • This position has food Safety Responsibilities.

Qualifications

All applicants must have either a High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Applicants must have the ability to perform basic mathematical function and the ability to prepare correspondence.

To perform this job successfully an individual should have knowledge of MS Office and working knowledge of Sage X3 inventory functionality.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle, reach with hands and arms, see, talk, and hear. The employee is required to stand, walk, stoop, or kneel. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
