Resource Development Coordinator
Part-Time Resource Development Coordinator Needed
Nonprofit organization searching for a part-time (20 to 28 hours per week) Resource Development Coordinator to strategically plan, seek, and pursue grant opportunities, cultivate present and future donors, fundraise, implement and maintain technology to aid in the management of donor and volunteer information, and communicate frequently with donors and stakeholders. Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of three years of grant writing, fundraising, and donor management experience in a nonprofit organization. Excellent communication (oral and written) and computer/data base management skills desired.
Specific Duties
- Prepares and maintains the Resource Development Strategic Plan and annual initiatives in collaboration with the Executive Director. Fundraising efforts are to be restricted to obtaining contributions that qualify as Smart Start Program Match in accordance with Smart Start Cost Principles.
- Researches and identifies grant opportunities that complements the Partnership’s vision and mission.
- Prepares grant proposals approved by the Executive Director in advance for submission to grantors.
- Cultivates donor relationships.
- Develops, directs, and manages an Annual Fund Campaign and solicits donations.
- Directs and manages all event fundraising efforts (i.e., Spooktacular, etc.).
- Researches, identifies, and recommends resource development software for leasing/purchasing consideration by the Executive Director.
- Develops and maintains a current and comprehensive resource data base including but not limited to a mailing/contact list of donors and volunteers.
- Responds to and thanks all donors (cash and in-kind).
- Prepares press releases/articles for the media (website, Facebook page, newsletters, newspapers, radio and TV) regarding resource development cultivation, activities, events, successes, etc.
- Meet/exceed annual performance objectives.
- Other duties as assigned.
