This position is responsible for overseeing and completing diversion screening verification processes. Duties will include but not be limited to providing teaching, supervision, and guidance to other TCLI diversion staff members. The position entails assessing members’ clinical care needs and developing, implementing, and reviewing the program of care to ensure that quality service can be safely offered to the member. The psychiatric nurse is also responsible for managing a caseload. The position will be actively involved in the management of complicated cases.
The position requires a Master's degree in psychiatric nursing; or a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and two years of psychiatric nursing; or graduation from a State accredited school of nursing and four years of psychiatric nursing experience.
Position requires an active, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina and must have a valid North Carolina Driver’s License.
Preferred Experience: An understanding of URAC Standards, DMA contract and requirements of the 1915 b/c waiver and the Department of Justice Settlement; state endorsed training on the transition philosophy, methods, and practices.
