VP, Marketing Actuary

SCOR Global Life Americas Reinsurance Company seeks VP, Marketing Actuary in Charlotte, NC to negotiate complex reinsurance deals on Mortality, Longevity & Health in US mrkt. Req’mnts: Bachelor’s or foreign equiv in Actuarial Sci, Math, or rel. field & 6 yrs of progressively responsible exp in job offered or rel. occupation: anlyzg complex actuarial assumptions in accordance w/prof’l Actuarial Standards of Practice (“ASOP”) for Life Insurance products; utilizing MS Excel to create pivot tables & working w/actuarial formulas & datasets to dsgn bus. strategies; utilizing exp w/MS PowerPoint & creating PowerPoints to sell insurance services & values-adds to prospective clients; working w/US Life Insurance laws & regulations; & utilizing actuarial profitability indicators incl ROE, VNB, EV to make bus. decisions to meet profitability targets & meet client targets.
