Meck Pre-K Program Assistant
Smart Start of Mecklenburg County is hiring a Pre-K Program Assistant to provide administrative support to the newly funded county pre-kindergarten expansion.
This position will work closely with the Meck Pre-K Director and Pre-K Specialist and will be responsible for supporting the program through the initial database implementation and ongoing data entry and updates. Will support program through assisting with monitoring scheduling, placing equipment orders, provide administrative support in preparation for training events and meetings, maintain organized department filing system, assist with reporting requirements to funder, and prepare reports and correspondence regarding the Meck Pre-K program. Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities and assignments. Associates degree in business administration, administrative office technology, or related field, and three (3) years related experience and/or training in a professional work environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
