Salary Depending on Experience and Qualifications

Basic Responsibilities:

Develops, coordinates and implements an effective program for property/right-of-way acquisitions, dispositions, and the management of all District property rights.  Prepare and present legislation associated with the disposal of surplus property, striving to obtain the maximum return on all sales and leases.  Acquisition of property and property rights as needed for District purposes. Obtain Easements, Licenses, Agreements, Leases and Permits as well as reading and writing legal descriptions as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate or related field; OR the equivalent combination of related education and experience in real property rights acquisition and Four (4) years’ experience in real property rights acquisition, of which one (1) year can include experience in Real Estate Sales, Title, Legal, Permitting, Land Use Planning, Appraisal, Surveying and Property Management.

Preferred Qualifications:

SRWA professional designation; and Prior Utility Right of Way Experience.
