St. Paul’s Fire District is seeking to fill a position for Automotive / Medium Duty / Heavy Duty Truck Repair Technician. Minimum Education - Position requires a high school diploma (or GED). Minimum Qualification - Five (5) or more years of in depth repair and maintenance of vehicles including gas engine cars, lite duty trucks, and small gas powered equipment and medium to heavy-duty truck systems. SC class E or CDL driver’s license. Manufacturer's certification of past training desired from: Caterpillar, Cummings, Freightliner, and Kenworth, Mercedes, and Allyson transmission. Candidate will be required to complete certifications in Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) designation and or Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications for Automotive through Medium & Heavy Duty Truck Repairs.
Pay Range: $38,480 - $49,000 (Estimated Annual Salary, excluding fringe benefits)
