The Palm Beach County Tax Collector's Office is seeking an experienced Chief Excellence Officer for its countywide operation. The successful candidate will serve as a member of the Senior Executive Team and take the lead for Strategic Planning and Performance Management. The Excellence Department manages strategic change and the continuous improvement of processes, projects, and performance. The department is driven by creative and analytical thinkers who have a strong passion for the implementation and execution of solutions while maintaining a high standard of excellence.
Position requirements include:
* Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree in Business, Information Technology or Public Administration;
* A proven track record with multi-year strategic planning;
* Demonstrated experience executing data-driven campaigns that led to strong qualitative and quantitative outcomes;
* At least six years of progressively responsible leadership experience in implementing process improvement strategies;
* Knowledge of quality award programs and criteria.
