Application Engineer III

Provide advanced level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and databases, under general direction; integrate third party products; translate technical specifications into code for complex new or enhancement projects for internal clients; write programs, develop code, test artifacts, and produce reports. Requires Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Science and Engineering, or closely related IT field and two years of experience in job offered or in IT positions including Big Data Developer and/or Senior Data Engineer; or Bachelor’s and five years of experience. Background in education, training or experience must include Programming Languages: Spark, Python, Java, Scala, NodeJS, JavaScript; Tools and Technologies including CFT, Hadoop Stack, AWS Services (S3, EMR, Glue, EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB, Redshift, SNS, SQS, Kinesis, Athena, RDS, Aurora, CloudFormation); Testing including Mockito, Power Mockito; DB including DB2, Oracle, Hive, SQL Server, PostgreSQL; Version control including GIT, Bitbucket. Company operates on hybrid model with three days in office and work-from-home available two days.
