Position: Dean, Health & Human Services

Proposed Hire Date: August 01, 2024

Brief Description of Position:  As an academic leader, the Dean of Health & Human Services (HHS) supports the mission to “unite with all people in our community to identify and achieve their goals through an innovative, high quality educational experience” as the College works toward a vision of being “a transformational community leader that empowers all individuals to achieve success.”

With an aim to deliver exceptional opportunities, instruction, and service to students and other stakeholders, the Dean is responsible for strategic leadership and administrative functions of the HHS Division. The Dean reports to the Vice President for Academic Affairs & Workforce Development (Chief Academic Officer) and serves on the academic leadership team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university required.
  • Master’s degree in a healthcare field preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of teaching experience required.
  • Experience working in a community college preferred.
  • Experience working in a healthcare profession preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability as a supervisor or administrator required.

 

Salary:  Hiring Range – Minimum to Midpoint ($5,354 – 5,800/monthly) 12-month position
