Western Piedmont Community College is seeking to fill the following position:
Instructor, Medical Laboratory Technology
The primary purpose of this position is to prepare students to become competent Medical Laboratory Technicians, qualified to work in a clinical laboratory.
The essential duties of this position are the teaching of clinical and transdisciplinary courses to include development and implementation of course documents, testing and course evaluation as assigned in the Medical Laboratory Technology program.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- MT or MLS ASCP certification required.
- Three years of experience in a clinical medical laboratory required.
- Three years of teaching experience preferred.
Salary: Minimum to Midpoint ($4,598 – 5,750/monthly) 9-month contract.
