Position: Project Manager

Brief Description of Position: The Project Manager (PM) will be a dynamic and experienced person that leads innovation and partnerships within our region that support innovation in textiles, apprenticeships and simulated and virtual education options. The responsibilities span multiple continuing education and curriculum programs for developing new or innovative programs. The PM will be a direct report to both the president of WPCC and the CEO of the NSF Engine and will need to work cooperatively with multiple divisions and departments to accomplish a variety of tasks. Adherence to sound Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) practices and NC Community College System (NCCCS) rules and regulations will be necessary. This is a grant funded position.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education, background, and/or training equivalent to a bachelor’s degree required.
- Five (5) years of direct work experience in a related technical field required.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals at all organizational levels and in a variety of work environments.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Ability to make decisions.
- Organize multiple tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to function effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to independently plan, initiate and complete approved assignments.
- Demonstrated computer literacy.
- Demonstrated knowledge of external funding sources.
- Valid NC Driver’s license and must be maintained.
Salary: Hiring Range – Minimum to Midpoint ($5,354 – 5,800/monthly) Grant Funded
