Success Coach
Western Piedmont Community College is seeking a Success Coach
The Success Coach will serve as the primary support person for all students in the Associate in Arts, Associate in Fine Arts, Associate in Science, and Associate in Applied Science programs. The coach will regularly communicate with students and related faculty to ensure the marketing, retention, completion, and post completion success of all students.
Note: This is a one-year grant funded position. Continued employment will be dependent on the availability of funds.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Five years’ experience in trades, coaching or teaching as well as qualifications to teach in at least one field preferred.
- Knowledge of and dedication to the mission of the community college and higher education.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations within and external to the College.
Salary: Commensurate with experience and credentials.
