Position: Technology Support

Proposed Hire Date: August 01, 2024

Brief Description of Position:  The Technology Support Technician is responsible to the Network Administrator and works in close cooperation with faculty and staff to provide planning, coordination, maintenance, and training connected to the college’s computer services. This position will answer Help Desk calls for computer support as well as audio/video setups.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Minimum two-year degree in Information Systems or Technology Services.
  2. Preferred four-year degree in Information Technology.
  3. Knowledge of instructional technology (audio, video, computer) equipment and ability to operate and maintain such equipment.
  4. Experience in all areas of Technology Support including audio/visual support preferred.
  5. Should be creative, adaptable and have ability to work well under pressure.
  6. Ability to relate to faculty, staff, students, and community members in a congenial and professional manner.
  7. Technical knowledge of lighting and sound for audio and video equipment setups.

SalaryHiring Range – Minimum to Midpoint ($2,929 – 3,173/monthly)
