WINGATE, NC - Wingate, a comprehensive, independent and growing university, serves more than 3,600 students in North Carolina. Founded in 1896, the University offers 37 undergraduate majors as well as graduate and professional programs. Wingate is home to the Cannon College of Arts and Sciences, the Levine College of Health Sciences, the Byrum School of Business, the Thayer School of Education and the School of Sport Sciences. Nearly one-in-five Wingate undergraduate students is preparing to be a pharmacist, physician assistant, physical therapist or nurse, and 60 percent of graduate students are enrolled in health sciences. Wingate University is seeking applicants to fill several part-time, adjunct teaching positions for the upcoming Spring 2019 semester in the following areas:
*Introduction to Business Applica tions (computer-based course)
*AT 201 Practical & Emergency Techniques in Athletic Training
*AT 235 Athletic Training Practicum II
*AT 305 Care & Prevention of Athletic Injuries
*Communication – News Writing, Digital Journalism, Public Speaking and Sports Reporting
*Biology – Anatomy & Physiology Labs
*Communication - available in online, face-to-face (evening), and hybrid modalities
These part-time positions will primarily teach in-person classes on our main campus, unless otherwise specified.
Ideal candidates will have a master’s degree,18 graduate hours in the discipline and college teaching experience.
