Instructor, Electrical / Electronics and Mechanical Engineering Technology Programs
QUALIFICATIONS: Associate's degree (required); bachelor's degree (preferred) in Electrical/Electronics or related field from an accredited college or university. Strong background in motors and controls plus electrical wiring and code preferred. Should be able to demonstrate the understanding of DC/AC circuit analysis, analog electronics including transistors and operational amplifiers, digital electronics, robotics and PLC's. Prior teaching experience preferred. To instruct classes in assigned division; to coordinate assigned activities with other college programs, divisions, departments and outside agencies; and to provide responsible and complex administrative support to the Director, Electrical/Electronics and Mechanical Engineering Technology Programs and the Department Chair, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. This is a nine month faculty position working from mid-August to mid-May each academic year.
