Continuing Education Technician
Cleveland Community College is accepting applications for the position of Continuing Education Technician.
Statement of Primary Purpose:
Administers the Continuing Education student registration process. Provides Datatel course administration and administrative support functions for Continuing Education.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Administer the Continuing Education student registration process and the Datatel course administration process.
2. Collect student registration fees, invoice industries and local agencies for registration fees, and provide appropriate documentation to the Business Office.
3. Compile class rosters, create class registration packets, pull required class information, and provide instructor packets.
4. Maintain accurate and appropriate course, student and part-time instructor records.
5. Close out contracts and assure accuracy of paperwork associated with classes and contracts.
6. Collect and maintain course/instructor evaluation forms at the end of each class.
7. Create class visit sheets and maintain appropriate records to document class visitations each semester.
8. Provide student transcripts and certificates as needed.
9. Support the planning, organization and deployment of the annual Fire College.
10. Maintain and update required files in the Datatel CE module.
11. Stay abreast of the NCCCS administrative code and maintain all files, data, systems and CE activities in accordance with NCCCS guidelines.
12. Maintain and order an appropriate level of office supplies.
13. Maintain accurate CE schedules on the CCC Continuing Education web page and calendar.
14. Prepare CE schedules of courses each semester and coordinate updates with the Public Information and Marketing Coordinator for printed and online publication.
15. Generate FTE semester reports for CE and Basic Skills to NCCCS.
16. Serve on various committees within the College.
17. Attend professional development trainings as required.
18. Perform other duties as assigned and other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

2. Skill in the use of computers and commitment to use of technology.
3. Experience with current version of MS Office or similar programs
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills
5. Provide exceptional customer service with people internal and external to the institution.

Qualifications
1. Associate degree required
