WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR I
The City of Monroe, North Carolina, is seeking a dynamic individual for Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator I. Duties include operating, collecting samples and data, preparing and maintaining required records of plant operations and performing preventative maintenance on plant equipment of a 10.4 MGD WWTP. This is a shift position with weekend and holiday work required as well as covering vacancies on other shifts. Requires possession of an appropriate driver’s license valid in the State of North Carolina and possession of or ability to obtain a Grade I Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Certification.
